Is the software really free?
The software is free to use! You cannot distribute it, sell it, or charge a fee to someone to transfer it to anyone. It is used under the license found on this website.
What kind of file does it generate?
It creates a setup.exe file. The setup.exe contains EVERYTHING the user needs to install your screensaver. It is serialized also and asks for their name and key. YOU get to assign serial numbers individually as people buy your product. Or you can print them and stick them to the screensaver cd cover, or you can use a generic serial key for all of your stuff. The options are yours!
What kind of images can I use?
This software supports JPG only. You can covert your other type images to JPG with lots of other free photo software.
Can I sell my screensavers?
Of course you can!
Do you offer phone support?
No. This is distributed for free! I answer email but it takes up to three days.
How is this free? Similar software costs $79!
I originally had this created for a Katrina Hurricane Screen Saver I did for family and friends. The software is created and is just sitting on my computer so….. I sell advertising on the site to try to offset the download costs. |
